INFORMATION FOR PARENTS

We are very proud of our school. Our students are successful academically, creatively and socially. We place great emphasis on academic success but we also recognise that young people need to be happy and safe in order to learn.

Making an application. If your child currently attends

... a primary school: second week of September. This will contain information about the application process, the closing date and the Common Application Form. You will be invited to express three preferences of school. Some families in the past have regretted not using all three preferences. You can complete the application form on-line or return it to your primary school. Once the allocations have been made, school staff will visit pupils in their primary school. There will also be an Induction Day on 6th July, 2010. All pupils in Year 6 will receive an admissions pack through their primary school in the

... an RBWM secondary school: contact the Admissions Team and collect a 'Request to Transfer' form. You should then make an appointment with

the Headteacher of your current school; their signature is required on the form. Then return the form to the

Admissions Team who will forward it to Cox Green. We will then contact you to make an appointment for a visit to

meet with Mr Hylan.

... another secondary school: appropriate application form. If you are moving home, and only in the area for a brief visit, we will do our best to arrange an appointment for you to visit the school.
