At Key Stage 5 there are a range of potential pathways available for students to follow. Here are some examples.
Students can choose from a broad range of subjects to study allowing them to either keep their selection broad or, if appropriate for their future pathway, a more focused set of subjects.
With the vast majority of subjects students receive 10 contact lessons with a teacher a fortnight. For the minority of subjects where they receive either 8 or 9 lessons a fortnight the non-contact lessons are independent learning lessons with specific tasks set by the subject teacher to complete during them.
Most of the subjects available for students to study are taught at Cox Green, however there are a few (French, Government & Politics, Design & Technology and Sociology), which are delivered by and at schools in the Maidenhead Consortium. These lessons take place on a Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon every week.
If you wish to discuss any other potential combinations, please contact Mrs Charlotte Morgan-Russell (Assistant Headteacher) at the School, or via email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
