House System
The House system allows every student and member of staff to feel a sense of belonging by becoming a member of one of the Seven Houses (Brunel, Churchill, Hawking, Nightingale, Novello, Parks and Winton). Each were selected by our students and have a connection to the local area. As house members, all students have a range of opportunities to work together and ‘compete’ against other students, the other houses and even against themselves, earning points in the process. The house system was developed in 2018 and the aim was for it to be an integral part of our pastoral system and school culture, and the challenge was to develop a sense of pride and commitment. The house system is designed to embody our school values and ethos.
