A very warm welcome
Who are we?
We are a newly formed dedicated team of parents and school staff who organise social and fund-raising events in person and online throughout the year to support and enrich the school experience for our children in many different ways.
The PTFA at Cox Green School has not been in action for the past few years but previously ran many exciting school and community events raising funds which helped to provide equipment, facilities and experiences that would otherwise just not be available within the school budget. The school really needs and appreciates the support of a strong and vibrant PTFA.
It’s not all about fundraising; being part of the PTFA is about taking an active part in the school community. Parents and teachers working together in partnership are an important and fulfilling aspect of school life and one that really does contribute to the vibrancy and success.
Being an active member of the PTFA is a great way to get to know the school, how it works, the different departments and their needs and priorities. Also to get involved in events and get to know other parents and members of staff who all work together towards a common aim – to enhance opportunities for our children.
All our committee meetings will be run in school and via TEAMS and everyone is welcome whether they wish to take an active role in the PTFA or just listen to find out more.
AGM – Tuesday 10th January 2023
Many thanks to those parents that joined us online at the AGM last week. We have now formally elected a PTFA Committee and can begin our events and fundraising for this year. Please get in touch if you are interested to take on any of the following vacant roles of Treasurer, School Liaison Officer and Event Volunteers.
