The Geography Department is proud of its academic attainment shown in the 2022 results.
GCSE:
- Outstanding achievements in the Summer 22 exams – 81% of students achieved a Level 9-5 and nearly 30% achieved a Level 9-7
A Level:
- Outstanding achievements in the Summer 22 exams – 100% A*-C
Moreover, the Geography curriculum allows Cox Green Geographers to develop their abilities beyond the classroom. Each year, GCSE and A-Level students engage in a wide range of fieldwork activities traveling to London, the Dorset Coast and Selsey measuring the effect of coastal processes and completing a range of surveys. Additionally, a KS3 Geography club allows students to investigate wider world issues and Geography beyond the curriculum.
Finally, the Departments lead eco-friendly initiatives through the Junior Senior Leadership team and the Personal Development and assembly programme.
